This town is named for an American politician, although lesser known than their industrialist relative. Most of the buildings in this historical district date from the late nineteenth and early twentieth century and encompass popular architectural styles, including Italianate, Renaissance Revival, and Gothic Revival. It’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This mountain town is known not only for its history but also music, brews and handmade crafts and art. Think you’ve figured it out?
