Monday Night Raw was live from Fresno, California. Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawlor were at ringside at Summer Slam. The Beast Brock Lesnar defeated The Game Triple H. WWE Champion CM Punk defeated John Cena and The Big Show in a Triple Threat Match. Sheamus retained the World Heavyweight Title by beating Alberto Del Rio. Anthony Cesaro became the new U.S. Heavyweight Champ be defeating Santino Marella. The Miz retained the inter-continental title over Rey Mysterio. Kofi Kingston and R Truth retained the tag team titles when they beat The Primetime Players. This event was held at Fresno State University arena. Summer Slam was held Sunday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Paul Heyman, Lesnar's associate made Brock Lesnar the new lord, master and conquerer of the WWE Universe. Kofi Kingston and R. Truth, the tag team champions, along with Sin Cara faced the team of Cody Rhodes, and The Primetime Players (Darron Young and Titus O'Neil) in a 6-man tag team match. Sin Cara got the pin for his team over Cody Rhodes. Ryback battles Mike Skinner and Andy DeTorrez in a 2-on-1 handicap match. Jinder Mahal interfered in the match. Ryback won the match. His performance was impressive. Alberto Del Rio was angry after he was cheated out of a victory for the world heavyweight title at Summer Slam. When Del Rio demanded a rematch Raw GM AJ Lee came out and put Del Rio in a match against The Apex Preditor Randy Orton. The RKO of Orton finished off Del Rio after Sheamus put Orton's foot on the bottom rope.
