WVU wins!

WVU overwhelmed Marshall Saturday by a final score of 69 to 34 to retain the Friends of Coal Bowl trophy. Geno Smith and the offense were outstanding in the game. but the defense needs some work Special teams need work as well. I hope they get it together before their next game on Sept. 15 at FedEx Field in Washington against the Dukes of James Madison.

Elkins High School Football is 2 and 0 in the Big 10. They defeated the Trojans of Hampshire County by a final score of 57 to 42. Clayton Collett was Mr. Everything in the game. The defense needs some work on not giving up so many points to the other team.

The Elkins Tigers will host a home game this Friday against their arch rival, The Buccaneers from Buckhannon-Upshur in "The War Game"!
