The Death of Roy Simms

November 22, 2012 - John Zirbs
I watched Roy Simms playing for Elkins High School from his sophomore year to his senior year and I was always there in my Superfan outfit to cheer him and the Tigers on in football and basketball. I watched him play from his freshman year to his senior year. Then I saw him on TV playing for the University of Detroit from 1979 to 1983.

When he was the coach at Elkins High, I was there at the games cheering the Tigers on. I retired in 2010 from being Superfan, and I now sit with my stuffed tigers Big Mike, Simba, and little Mifasa in the stands at the games. Now that he is gone, I am nothing! And when i wear my rally cowboy hat in the crowd, I feel empty now. I do not have the magic to help the team anymore.

This is my opinion about this. What do you all think I need to do?
