50th Anniversary
MR. AND MRS. RICHARD LINGER
Richard and Patty Linger will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 5. The couple, originally from Elkins, reside in Martinsburg. They have three children, Richard Daniel Linger and Bernice Linger of Parsons, Kenneth Linger and Chantra Linger of Poquoson, Va., and Tricia Linger Sheely and Brent Sheely of Martinsburg. They have nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The couple will be accepting guests at the Tuscarora Ruritan Club from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 11. Larry and Leona Zirkle celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on Aug. 5.
Mr. and Mrs. Zirkle were married Aug. 5, 1978, in Upshur County outside the old Indian Camp Normal Church under the trees in the early morning with the Rev.
62nd Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. George N. Strader Sr. of the Chenoweth Creek community will celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversary on Sept. 7.
They were married Sept. 7, 1936, at Frenchton.
