Congress too rich to understand problems

It all falls back to the old saying, "power corrupts, ultimate power corrupts ultimately." When you put a person in a position that takes an act of congress to remove them, the fear factor is removed and that person loses fear of those who elected them. Add that to the fact that voters have short memories, and you have a formula for disaster. Throw in the moral decline that has taken place over the last 20 years, and you are in real trouble.

When you have two generations of people who have no moral upbringing, and have been taught to think only of self, it's easy for politicians to throw them a bone or two, and they'll look the other way and that politician is set for life. This is why i've said for years that we need term limits on ALL public offices, and every government officials should be elected for office, from the USSC right down all public offices in city government. It's the only way to stop this madness.
