Do we tear down our homes when someone we love dies? Do we stop driving because someone close to us died in a car wreck? Do you stop flying after seeing a news report about the deaths of 300 people in a jumbo jet? Of course not, so why would you demolish a $3 million dollar school over something like this? Can you not see how ridiculous this is? Part of growing up is being able to put the bad things in life behind us, and then moving on.

No one expects these children to forget what happened, but they must be able to put things into perspective and get on with their life, and in most instances, the kids do just that. It's the adults who have trouble with it. For some stupid reason, they think the problem can be fixed by building a new school. What possible good would come out of building a new school when the same thing could happen again in the new school? You may remove the school, but the threat will always be there. That's life, and how you handle is speaks volumes about you.
