I hear people all of the time bash teacher's They are the same people who have out of control kids that they send off to school for someone else like the teachers to deal with, As in the Sandy Hook incident proved teachers deal with alot and are so under appreciated. The priorities are wrong. The students had nothing to fear when they take the Westest. They are no consequences. So why should they try their best. And you want to base Merit Pay on a system like that. If a group of students don't like a teacher then they can do poorly on the test and cost that teacher money. Just think about what you are proposing.
