Guns are just objects, but minds can be evil

Anyone who collects social security, medicare, drives on public roads, attends public schools, depends upon fire and ambulance services, checks into a public hospital, including theVA hospital, PX, or any other government-run facility IS a socialist whether they care to admit it or not. THOSE are all socialist programs. Any farmer receiving a subsidy of any kind from Uncle Sam has NO right to complain about socialism. If you want a purely capitalist society where the government has no investment in the common good, check out Somalia. Go there and come back and tell us all how you liked it.

Good thoughts - the comments are idiotic though... So for everyone who blames liberalism (is it liberal to seek to control out-of-control maniacs with assault rifles?) forgets that even if every home were armed to the teeth, the tyrannical government they would be trying to defend themselves against would be the US Military - the National Guard - members of our own family. Don't you think the idea of a "militia" is a little out of date? Honestly, give it a rest. Guns in and of themselves are not the problem, it's true, but FEAR is, and it causes more people to buy more guns and ammo,, more stockpiled food and survival gear than is rational. Then they justify it by saying it's God's holy way, bashing a few liberals (who also fought tooth and nail in the trenches for the right to BE liberal and proud of it) and somehow believing themselves to be patriotic. Goodness is not a conservative or liberal quality. Common sense is something anyone can have - even Republicans.

Liberals are incapable of understanding the meaning of immoral, moral, common sense or responsibility because most of them have never been taught what they are. They also don't understand that their rights end when they infringe on someone else's rights. They don't know the difference between a the militia and a standing army. But then again, they don't understand much of anything regarding the constitution. I guess you can't understand something you've never read.

The socialists who started chipping away at America over a century ago have finally gotten what they wanted, a secular socialist America. They call good evil, and evil good. Many cultures down through history have gone down this path. The so-called "gun problem" has NOTHING to do with guns. It has EVERYTHING to do with America's socialistic moral collapse.

For some reason, part of the last sentence of my previous post wasn't included, even though it should have been within the character limit.

Those who disagree with indisputable facts are foolish.

Even the vice-president has publicly stated that nothing can be done to enforce gun regulatins that are already on the books. Arrests can't be prosecuted because of a lack of MAN POWER, according to Joe Biden! There is no logical reason to criminalize those who own legally obtained guns.

We do need to prosecute and PUNISH those who misuse firearms and break existing laws.

We also need to face this. The liberal "social experiement" that began in the late 60s has failed. It has crated a society just like so many others that have failed throughout history. How many times does failure have to be proven before people learn??

Go ahead and disagree... IF you can offer PROOF or FACTS that support disarming law abiding citizens as a way to stop murderers.

Bonnie & Clyde, Al Capone and many others have had access to multiple rounds. They did not shoot up schools because that behavior wasn't "trending". Criminals knew that they would be punished, most likely by death, for their actions. It is only since violence has become socially acceptable as entertainment, criminals get better care and housing than most taxpayers, and social programs teach everything EXCEPT responsibility for one's own actions, that mass shootings have become more common.

When there were guns in the cloakrooms at schools, there were no mass shootings simply to grab the "fame" of violence for entertainment!

Here are FACTS:

Gun control leads to tyranny.

Socialist "republics" are controlled by an elite few (tyranny).

Gun control has NEVER eliminated evil or mental illness from any society.

Society has become more immoral with the help of social programs aimed at demoralizing America. Laws that force couples to live together rather than get married, social experiments such as the move to normalize homosexuality, the removal of the Bible from our schools and the present welfare system that rewards laziness, has moved America closer to the edge of destruction.

It's no accident that we arrived at where we are today. We were warned by former members of the communist party that moved to America from around the world, but we didn't listen. We were also warned that the Democratic Party had been taken over by the socialist/communist, but we paid no attention, and elected people like Barack Obama. The signs are all around us. Social programs, reeducation, indoctrination in our schools, homosexual studies in our schools, the attempt to teach children that immorality is ok, and the Bible is a myth are all part of the socialization of our country. Gun control is another.
