Whoa! Hold on just a minute. Both Mr. Delong and the author of this piece have missed an important fundamental element of sound buisness practices. It is cheaper to have existing employees work overtime that it is to increase staff size, i.e. hire more employees. Why? Because the employer has met the burden of finge benefits such as Social Security, Medicare, company/agency insurance, retirement benefits, federal & state witholdings. Get ready WV citizens. Unless you stop voting the same decades long jokers back into office, they are slowly but surely doing stupid things like this to ensure they get more of your tax dollars thus having to RAISE your taxes more and more. WV voters better wake up. This state is already over-taxed and without any good paying jobs ever available in this democrat-controlled state, good luck affording that!!

Start 'executing' murderers and rapists and we won't need more prisons or more workers or more taxes raised to pay for all this crap. Vote those into office who care about victims not criminals; who care about NOT taxing folks in an already poverty-ridden state with no apparent signs of good paying jobs for decades in this stinking democrat-controlled, over taxed and getting more poverty stricken by the week, state!!!
