Does W.Va. need to ‘move on’ from coal?February 2, 2013Editor, The Jan. 28 editorial in The Intermountain merits a response, as I watched the Obama inaugural address and did not hear him say anything about coal.... Showing 2 of 2 comments

You had better hope coal stays around because if it doesn't you will be paying electric bills three times what they are now. There nothing out there that can produce electric cheaper than coal, with the exception of hydroelectric, and we simply don't have the water supplies to sustain it. I find it odd that you gave up on coal when many countries around the world, including China, rely on coal as their main source of fuel for energy.
We are willing to let an entire industry die over the unsubstanciated claims of a few scientist bought and paid for by the environmentalist in government. Take away their grants, and they too would blow the global warming scam wide open. All you're doing by supporting it is putting money in Al Gore's pockets. Wake up. There's nothing new about the weather reoccuring except weather events that happened long before we were born.

Poor on the left are lacking common sense if they think this is not going to 'quadruple' their electricity bills. Obama even 'admitted' his war on coal would do that to you all. Keep believing lies; that will get you nonthinkers right where Obama wants you; little useable minions.
