Two fallacies in your point Pure:

One, this editorial, seeking highway spending, was handed down by the Ogden overlords who backed only REPUB causes during the 2012 election cycle: ****campaignmoney. com/advanced.asp?pg=1&searchtype=contributors&cycle1=12&lname=&fname=&work=&occup=ogden&zipcodes=&fdate=&tdate=&state=WV&cycle2=12&cmtetype=&cmtename=&cmteorg=&igc=&cmteparty=&cycle3=12&cndoffice=&cndtype=&cndlname=&cndfname=&cndstate=&cndparty=&orderby=&reccnt=15&recamt=32500

Two, the only 'liberal' group mentioned in the editorial, the Sierra Club, opposes the project and thus, oppose the spending on its construction.

Care to clarify how these facts differ from your stated opinion?

As a lifetime resident of southwest virginia, besides my time away for college, I know what it is to live in the area without great transportation. The nearest interstate highway is a hour and a half away. I do hate to see these mountains destroyed, but I see the benefit of the road to the area to open new jobs besides coal mining and natural gas.
