The base tuition for Wesleyan is $25,800. The base tuition for Harvard is $37,576. One has to ask why someone would attend Wesleyan when you could attend Harvard for about $10,000 more. Wesleyan is know as a "Party College", and known for taking problem students expelled from other schools. Could it be their "Poverty" is self-inflicted due to their partying? There are a lot of people in WV who have incomes lower than Wesleyan's tuition, and they manage to make end meet, so why are these students having problem when most, or all of the student's tuition is paid by their parents?

What they need is a dose of reality. If they aren't careful about what classes they choose, they may still be poverty stricken after college. Many college graduates these days are leaving their degrees off their resume in order to be hired when applying for a job. In today's job market, certain degrees won't get your foot in the door for many low paying jobs.
