Midland Elementary and Elkins High School students to be transported home

Students at Elkins High School and Midland Elementary schools will be transported home by bus beginning at 9:45 a.m. today. A bomb threat at approximately 8 a.m. prompted the schools to be evacuate....

Actually, read the article again. The schools were already evacuated. After it was decided how long it would take to check the schools, they decided to not keep the students at the evacuated place and instead send them home.

Randolph County Schools followed protocol and the safety of children was protected.
