"It's not as if it were ******," Prentice said, noting a recent policy change that outlaws tobacco on the grounds of state Division of Corrections facilities." ... well Prentice ... introducing contraband of any kind into a correctional facility creates an extreme potential for danger to both staff and inmates ... an individual could be killed over a pack of cigarettes!

I am sure he was taught during training that nothing can be given/sold to the inmates. I agree with PotBelly, what he did endangered both staff and inmates.

Gibson knew what he was doing, he isn't as innocent as his lawyer protrayes him to be, he wanted to make xtra money just like a lot of the guards do and are still doing, if the women aren't screwing and giving cell phones to the inmates, then the male guards are smuggling in crap they are as bad as the inmates and should be treated just like them he was not forced to bring in tobacco he chose to do that for the money, he is a rat that should serve his time and I disagree with Wilfong on her tell his lawyer to basically appeal this what the heck is she trying to prove......

they actually need to do drug test on the guards and do a better job of patting them down before their shift, totally disagree with what McCauley got his sentence is a pile of ****. Wilfong is really letting down a lot of people on her sentencing lately thought she was gonna be a better judge than what we had before her, haha guess not!!!!

This idiot has NO DEFENSE. STUPIDITY is not a defense!! Lock him up. Now he can really get a 'feel' of prison life.
