Tennant's past may provide clues on where she stands.

Let's go back to 2008. She enthusiastically supported Candidate Obama. OK. But remember Obama's speech in January 2008 when he talked about "global warming" and the need for cap and trade?

A smug Obama: "If somebody wants to build a coal plant, they can - it's just that it will bankrupt them, because they are going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted."

Does Tennant supporting Obama signal that she agreed with his agenda for coal? There's no indication that she didn't, and the question is magnified by the fact that she backed Obama again in 2012.

Obama's her guy. Or at least he was.

YEP! Natalie Tennant is just another Obama supporter who wants coal destroyed in WV. She supported everything Obama wanted, including the humongous quadrupling of our utility bills through CAP & TRADE!!!

Thank GOd for the GOP. I'd hate to think how much more communistic and dictating Obama and dems would have gotten had they kept the House.

Mr. Humphreys tried several times spending MILLIONS of his own money trying to beat Capito. He lost miserably and so won't Tennant. She's Manchins' handpicked mini him.

Learn to read you idiotic moron.

What I said previously was that I couldn't get health insurance due to a pre-existing condition and that money wasn't the reason that I couldn't get it. Now, thanks to the AFA, I am eligible to get insurance in January and that I am not going to need to be subsidized. That is what I said the letter I received informed me of.

It isn't a surprise that you have Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. They are about the only carrier in the state. You lied when you said that youwere sent a letter that said your premiums quadrupled because of the AFA. You know that, if you aren't lying about having insurance to begin with.

You may not agree with my politics (mostly because you are a buffoon that doesn't understand anything that I talk about) but the fact of it is is that every time you accuse me of lying you are the one being untruthful. You are also probably the only one here that doesn't get that. Keep making the literate people laugh if you want.

What can't make up his lying mind what he wants us to believe. LOL. First he says he's glad NOW he can purchase health insurance thru obamacare and that paying for it wasn't an issue. Really? Now, YOU LIE once again & try to tell us you already have insurance and oh my....miracle.......it just HAPPENS to be the exact SAME insurance I have. YOU'RE LIES ARE CATCHING UP TO YOU WHAT! You're pathetic and such a loser. Your life must really*****to have to make up lies. Feel sorry for you.

You got no such letter liar. I got one today from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield (a private insurance company) informing me that for very little more than I spend each month just to purchase my prescriptions I will finally be able to buy insurance come January. That is without a subsidy. Great news.

Since you have no idea what a communist is it wouldn't do any good to tell you that I wouldn't support one. I am getting tired of your kind of voter: the idiot that has been convinced that they are an informed patriot. That is how we end up with someone spending scarce time reading Green Eggs and Ham on the floor of the Senate.

Americans have had enough of WHATS type of politician; COMMUNISTS!

Folks are now getting their letters from their PRIVATE affordable health insurance companies informing them that because of OBAMACARE, they will now be REQUIRED to FORCE you to carry everything you don't want in your policy and thus INCREASING your premiums 300%. So.....democrats like ROckefeller and all those others who've decided they would NOT have a chance in h*LL of getting our votes after we see the TAX INCREASE OF OBAMACARE and QUADRUPLE UTILITY RATES thanks to Democrats and Obama.........even THEY realize they are NOT getting back in OUR HOUSE again!!!

Tennant is more of the same status quo socialist progressive nonthinking destructive DEMON-RAT. She hasn't a chance. GOOD RIDDANCE DEMOCRAT PARTY----YOU bowed down to the idiot in chief for 5 years and destroyed your own party.

"Are Democrats here upset with President Barack Obama solely because of his anti-coal agenda, or is it the whole package we don't like?"

....or do some reasonable people in this state realize that Obama's presidency could have been much more productive for America if it hadn't been for the Party of No putting party above country?

No matter who is in the White House we should have done better than squander the last few years when there is so much to be done.
