And yet, Puremagix, you support single payer. As long as YOUR bottom line isn't effected, you really don't care. All of your comments reflect your selfish and greedy little world where if the government can give you something, you're all for it and if you can't get something, you're against it.

How dare you project your own hypocritical life choices on to me. You admitted that your family accepted government assistance and every word out of your mouth is about how others are just not as SPECIAL and DESERVING as you and your family. Get off your high horse and stop assuming everyone is as greedy and selfish as you are.

There are three people who post on IM Comments who can verify that you stated your family accepted government assistance. You are such a typical "conservative" that you've become a cliché on these threads. You lie when you think no one is paying attention and when you're caught, you switch to personal attacks. You are not fooling anyone.

Puremagix, you clearly have no idea what a "typical" liberal is. The last time the issue of your family accepting government assistance was noted was in the topic, "Gun Issue Dwarfs Abortion Concerns" - August 10, 2013. In response to my comment re your family accepting assistance - Aug. 16 @ 5:01 pm - this is your comment, "I said my family, not me." made Aug 17 @ 6:32 am. Lying and denying will not change the facts.

I have documented your confirmation that your family accepted government assistance in the Comment preceding this one.

Let's move on to another of your statements: "...Now, let's clarify that social security, medicare and medicaid is not government assistance since you pay into it through payroll deductions." SS and Medicare are paid for by employee payroll tax (FICA) and matching employer contributions. Medicaid is NOT. My guess is that one or more of your "family" members are now enrolled in Medicaid.

I do not concede the issue of your saying "immediate family" - you did not. You have made other references to your family accepting government assistance and have told the story of your father losing his job and moving to another state to find work. You stated that you and your family received public assistance during that time. I don't have the time or interest to research the archives to prove this statement but even if I did, you would attempt to squirm out of it with more re-writing of history.

Your Comment about Medicaid is not only wrong, but it was also meant to legitimize Medicaid to fit your own right wing narrative, "...Now, let's clarify that social security, medicare and medicaid is not government assistance since you pay into it through payroll deductions."

It is your political party, politicians and alternate universe media which shames people like you into needing to re-write their own history.

It's hard to believe that an ignorant gas bag like Limbaugh, the propaganda of FoxNoise, the ranting and raving of a grifter like Palin and now the dangerous anti-American speeches of Ted Cruz could influence republican voters. But, Puremagix, you are the typical republican who continues to vote against your own interest.

These are the republican voters who are either in denial about their own lives and cannot separate fact from fiction or are too ignorant of facts to know better. You, Puremagix, are both.

I remember distinctly that you were an avid supporter of Sarah Palin, Puremagix. She would have been one heartbeat away from the presidency had the McCain ticket won.

Your comments betray your lack of informed knowledge and your inability to accept facts. I remember your spending an enormous amount of time attempting to disprove a well known American history event. Wherever you are getting your information or however you are inventing it, you are always misinformed and wrong.

As usual, you have no idea what you are talking about. In this thread alone you have displayed your lack of knowledge about your own paycheck. You state that you are sixty years old and have worked all your life, yet you do not know that payroll taxes and federal income taxes are two entirely different things. You do not know that payroll taxes (FICA) are matched by employers and are contributions to Social Security and Medicare. You do not know that FICA does not pay into Medicaid. Your lack of understanding about the most basic issues is always evident. You refuse to accept facts and deny your ignorance by babbling about wealth distribution and welfare myths.

LOL; since this article was written on Oct 19th; I wonder what the author thinks now. Since Obamacare's website opened it's been nothing but pure h*ll. Now, we find the GOP was CORRECT. You cannot keep your own insurance OR doctor. You will NOT pay less and have "affordable" insurance as it triples. The liar in the WH IS a liar. WOW; look at the news and all the liberal news media finally admitting all this. Look at all Obama's supporters of this HUMONGOUS TAXATION called ACA and how they now realize they've been duped; used as pawns, as useful unthinking idiots to pass this TAX! A little too late now. Try reading the bills yourself next time before jumping onto any lying politicians' words. Some folks never learn from their mistakes. Unfortunately these same folks will continue blindly believing anything their 'party guy or gal' says again next election.
