Walker, you act like you're mad about the Patriot Act and other privacy harming acts. WHy weren't you aware of Obama INCREASING Bush's Patriot Act? Obama thought it wasn't privacy killing enough and increased spying on ALL law-abiding citizens; YOU included. And Obama thinks cops do not have to have a search warrant to arrest & strip search you. I guess you're okay with all this since OBAMA did it, right? Dufus!

Hmmm... was there mention anywhere in this op-ed of Bush's "signing statements" which were in essence explanations as to why he would ignore the bill he was signing into law? Was there any mention of torture-as-policy, and the dozens of other abuses of power that for some weird reason Republicans now ascribe to this President? I didn't think so... It's hard to complain about the cost of a Presidential vacation for one president while ignoring the fact that ALL presidential vacations - whether to Texas or Hawaii - are just expensive because of the OFFICE - not the holder of the office. If you expect to save a few tax pennies by electing a president whose home state is closer to DC than another, then vote for a Virginia candidate, or someone from Maryland perhaps. As for PM's comment about Obama "spin" on losing gvt. benefits for the unemployed - isn't that your fondest wish? To cut everyone off? You should be thrilled they're now in the soup line.

TS, you just posted this on another thread: "...Obama's support at lowest of any presidents and you cannot even handle THAT truth! lol. Funny."

As I point out on that thread, this statement is NOT truth and while it might fit YOUR version of reality, it most definitely is NOT true reality.

TS, you appear to lack reading comprehension but have no problem posting your version of what you think you just read or heard from FoxNoise. You are the typical and perfect republican voter who allows him/herself to be manipulated and conned into believing absolute lies, misinformation and pure nonsense.

Solutions; liberals just ignore truth. They can't handle it. Reality is beyond their comprehension.

Again, solutions, repeating right wing spin on a WaPo/ABC News poll. The second paragraph in the Business Insider excerpted quote is an unattributed quote from WaPo while the first paragraph is pure right wing nonsense. The original source of this mash-up is TPNN aka Tea Party News Network...the site you attempted to link to.

For day to day polling results to include President Obama's approval rating, a more reliable source is "rasmussen reports dot com tracking poll obama administration daily presidential tracking poll". President Obama's approval rating today is 47%.

From Business Insider:

President Barack Obama is ending his fifth year in office with the lowest approval ratings at this point in the presidency since President Richard Nixon, according to a new Washington Post/ABC poll released Tuesday.

Obama's approval rating in the poll stands at 43%. By comparison, President George W. Bush had a 47% approval rating at the end of the fifth year of his presidency. And all other Post-World War II presidents had approval ratings above 50% — with the exception of Nixon, who, amid the Watergate scandal, had a dreadful 29% approval rating.

YORK, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- At the same point in his second term, President Nixon had better job approval ratings than President Obama, a Harris Poll released Friday indicted. Thirty-seven percent of respondents gave Nixon positive ratings on his overall job in November of 1973 -- just months before he resigned over the Watergate scandal -- while 34 percent of Americans said President Obama was doing a good job this month, results indicated.

It's not a game, solutions. You refuse to credit your source, TPNN aka Tea Party News Network, for the excerpted quote you posted.

See ***********tpnn****/2013/12/17/wapo-poll-obamas-approval-ratings-worst-since-nixon/

The partially plagiarized quote came from the 12/16 article in WaPo titled, "Obama Suffers Most From Year of Turmoil Poll Finds". The analysis of the poll by WaPo is quite different than the one which was presented by the Tea Party and repeated by various right wing pundits.

See, no game...just a little research and the ability to recognize right wing misinformation and lies.

I ask because it is a very distorted interpretation of a single poll taken by WaPo/ABC News.

nellie, try this: "According to a new Washington Post/ ABC News poll released Tuesday, President Obama is weathering an approval rating which is the worst since Nixon. According to the poll, President Obama’s approval rating is at 43%. When we look at every other post-World War II president finishing his fifth year, at this point in their presidency, every president enjoyed an approval rating of over 50% except George W. Bush with an approval rating of 47% and Richard Nixon with an abysmal 29%."

The issue of President Obama's poll numbers is pure FoxNoise misinformation. In April, 2008, President G. W. Bush's job disapproval rating of 69% was the lowest in Gallup Poll history.

President Richard M. Nixon was NOT impeached. Nixon resigned the Presidency.

Why someone hasn't invoked the articles of impeachment against this SOB is beyond me. When will the people learn that Obama is out to destroy America. Everyone has been worried about an outside invasion destroying this country, but Obama is successfully destroying it from within. People like Tuner and What sit around cheering the destruction of their own country by supporting a Muslim terrorist who successfully infiltrated our government. I don't know how much more evidences these idiots need to convince them that destroying this country is Obama's primary objective. When you have educated people agreeing the actions of someone looking to destroy America, wouldn't you be safe in assuming that their goals are similar? I would think so. As they say, if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck, then it must be a duck.

This country has given these guys everything, and yet they sit around and defend someone who obviously hates America.

Nixon was impeached for way LESS than what this most stupid, deceiving, lying president has done. But with the corrupt socialist democrats in control; they're not going to stop him. The People WILL though; next election!!! Dems destroying themselves and their party. History will show these goons as the worst and compared to Hitler, Stalin, Mao, etc......and just like those dictators; this one is a loser also. Dictators never last. Because eventually people they deceived do start to wake up......usually only after they see they're getting NOTHING they were promised and they start going hungry for more days.....some waking up sooner than others. Some must hit rock bottom first as they just can't help themselves and WANT to believe they can live high on the hog without working for it.
