December 21, 2013

John Boehner’s blast at Conservative interest groups was political theater at its best. First of all, it implied a bigger division within the Republican Party than there is actuall....

Nellie, you're right on target with all liberals; when the news is bad for you; resort to 'change the subject.' Not working out for ya though is it?

Liberals can't seem to catch up to the 21st century. Flashbacks Nellie?

President Obama's approval rating is at 47% as of yesterday according to Rasmussen which tracks polls daily.

If you take the time to do your own research, TS, you will find that President Richard M. Nixon, a republican, scores the lowest overall approval rating for presidents dating from post-WW II. There were many other US Presidents who score very low in approval ratings and President Obama doesn't even come close to those negative ratings.

OK, Puremagix, let's discuss the topic of Dr. Turner's opinion piece.

Do you think that Speaker Boehner has shown courage by attacking the extremist members of his party?

I agree with your comments, WMW, and have also concluded that the republican party has become a Big Box/One Stop Shopping experience for every no-info, disconnected, agenda driven loon in this Country. I do think the Nixon disgrace was the beginning and it is no coincidence that Roger Ailes was Nixon's media advisor. Ailes began planning his "own" tv "news" channel during his Nixon years and FoxNoise is the result. I am quite certain that if FoxNoise had existed during the Nixon administration, there would not have been a resignation and subsequent pardon for Watergate crimes.

TruthSeeker, are you aware that Speaker Boehner is a republican? Turner was actually giving Boehner undeserved credit for comments he made against his own party members. I believe you have difficulty understanding what you read and depend far too much on the lies and misinformation you get from FoxNoise and right wing radio talk shows.

Dr. Turners' attempts to 'defend' Obama and socialist democrat party....."political theater!"

You do it; what's the difference?

Btw, conservatives KNOW the problem is in BOTH parties. It's the "Progressives" we'll be firing next election. And there's Progressives in both parties. We now know who they are. We'll have no problem unelecting them!
