This is the usual and expected "stump speech." It does not matter who is superintendent at levy time. He/she is trotted out to extoll the virtues of the latest levy or extension of an existing one. As an educated voter that believes in education and voted for more levies than I can recall, Now I'm on the fence regarding levies. We continue to throw money at education while it continues its downward spiral! It's not unfair for taxpayers to expect a return (improved education system) on their investment.
