Mr majoritarian I'm not sure what your point is on some if these issues first you say it's a lie that republicans tried to cut social security then you come back and say that they did but it was because of the democrats so wich one is it? I know there's no changing your opinion on matters you are obviously brainwashed by the republicans propaganda Let me put it to you this way if someone raises the price on something where does the extra money go? Someone is turning a profit right? The money just doesn't disappear does it so the oil company's raise their prices the milkman raise his prices then the grocery store raises their prices and so on the federal government you sound like an idiot or when you say "gubment" is the largest employer in the world so what happens when they start laying people off? Then they need to find a job as CEO somewhere like I said before just look around you most of us in west va are hard working people and yet we are still poor go outside

For you to say that people are too lazy to work hard and get to the top is just not true in all cases I know plenty of people who have worked hard all of their lives and barely get by month to month how many managers or CEOs do you think they need out there it's not like you work for 5 or 10 years and get a promotion to boss it just doesn't work that way people need to clean toilets and serve your food at the drive through window or sell you your beer at the convenience store its hard enough to get a raise led alone a promotion like I said just look around you if people work a full time job they should not need food stamps

Do your research the republicans tried to cut social security and medicare the last time they when they tried to change the sequester and threatened to shut down the government they called social security an entitlement I don't know about you but I've paid into social security for over 30 years now it just comes right out of my paycheck wether I like it or not like I said befor those corperations that are sending jobs overseas are more concerned with saving a few dollars rather than investing in America for a better future for all of us there should be a flat tax for everyone no loopholes for billionaires and millionaires

You people don't know me. I came from a military family my. My father served 21 years in the army, served in Vietnam, worked at the White House for presidents Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, and George H. Walker Bush. My Grandfather faught the natzis in WW II. The " gubment" is supposed to be for the people by the people. Not for the corperations by the corperations , some of you people post comments on here that clearly show that you are cynical, in compassionate. I agree 100 percent that there is lots of "gubment" waste and fraud out there. But there is really nothing that can be done about it, out side of a revolution. Think about it if any one could have, or wanted to change the way our "gubment" runs things, it would have been the first black president. But you don't see poor people buying houses or Cadillacs now do you. No it's the rich white people that are buying those things. And then paying illegall immigrants to keep them clean. I'm just saying

The new Maine Governor, is making New Jersey 's Chris Christie look timid. He isn't afraid to say what he thinks. Judging by the comments, every time he opens his mouth, his popularity goes up.

He brought down the house at his inauguration when he shook his fist toward the media box and said, "You're on notice! I've inherited a financially troubled State to run. Observe...cover what we do...but don't whine if I don't waste time responding to your every whim just for your amusement."

During his campaign for Governor, he was talking to commercial fishermen who are struggling because of federal fisheries rules. They complained that Obama brought his family to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park for a long Labor Day holiday and found time to meet with union leaders, but wouldn't talk to the fishermen. LePage replied, "I'd tell him to go to*****and get out of my State." The Lame Stream Media crucified LePage, but he jumped 6 points in the pre-election poll.

How does our government oppress the people? If anything it's the corperations that send jobs overseas to save a few bucks rather than invest in America. It's not the presidents job to create jobs. But to maintain an economy that's good for bussiness which incase you didn't know Wall Street did pretty good in 2013. So when is that going to trickle down? It's pretty bad when someone that works a 40 hour job can't even afford a mortgage payment or health insurance. One problem is that hard work pays less than investing someone else's money. Look around you

"Liberal one-party rule has bred legislators who view hard-working taxpayers as nothing more than an ATM," said state GOP Chairman Alex X. Mooney.

Alex X. Mooney is the 'real' conservative that is running for House of Representatives; the seat vacated by Shelly Moore-Capito which will soon be Senator Shelly Moore-Capito. (That drives the liberals crazy by the way...hehehe!)

Google Alex Mooney...he understands Obama's and democrats 'socialist' policies more than most. Actually because of his mother's having had fled Communist Cuba. Like so many Americans, they came here from these dictator countries that oppressed their citizens and Obama NOR any liberal can tell them that socialism and communism is good. They know better.

I am definitely voting for this man. (He gets it!!!)

Google them. I did. That's only way you can read their past comments and what and how they feel about spending, taxes, morality, education (if they support federal Common Core Crap), etc.....

But then again...a lot of democrats today are pretending they're 'conservative' and just playing campaign games trying to deceive voters again.

I NEVER vote for a democrat that (right before election time) decides they are no longer a democrat and switches parties. Hey, you can call yourself whatever you want; you don't just wake up one day and decide EVERYTHING you always voted for and believed in has changed! It hasn't. It's a common practice of deceitful politicians with their own interests and no interest in the country's future or progress!
