Time will tell once again...how BOE officials 'use' stupid people to get what they want. Of course they 'use' those who won't be affected by "property taxes." Now realize why in the beginning ONLY landowners were allowed to vote! Our Founders knew what would happen and now it is.

A tax by any other name still smells like tax.I am in favor of supporting our schools and our kids education. What I am not in favor of is politicians trying to pull the wool over our eyes by playing word games with us.If there are legal ramification to NOT paying this so called levy than it is a tax.And no amount of word manipulations is going to change that fact.

"Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master."

George Washington

The socialists who infest every area of American life now would have us believe otherwise.

Something to keep in mind; Govts whether local or national, ALWAYS looks out for GOVT and NOT the people!

Just like businesses look out for their business; govt's do the same!

I noticed how they've decided to try to get us to vote for this by stating over and over "its not a new tax." Well what they aren't saying is: that they could still RAISE THIS LEVY TAX because they've already talked about how Upshur county was only taxing us around 48% of what they COULD tax us on. Surrounding counties tax higher so it stands to reason that if they spoke about that; they could and probably WILL go the whole way and tax us like Harrison county--100%, right????

Politicians ALWAYS tell you ONLY what they want---and NEVER the WHOLE TRUTH!!!

ALways be wary of what they DON'T tell you!
