Adult Drug Court has a 50 percent success rate state-wide.

Hopefully, she's in the 50% that stays clean. I have no doubt the program is hard for addicts. But only those who truly want to stop their destructive behavior/addiction will be in that percentage.

I hope this program stresses the fact that you must NOT keep your same addict friends and stay clean. That is what causes most to fall back into old habits. You must seek new friends, friends that do NOT do these things.

You ARE who your friends are. If you're not doing drugs and all your friends do...they are not going to like having you around. That's a fact. Seek a set of new friendships; people that are 'positive' and not depressing and negative. Ones that will encourage you.

If the program works, I hope it stays. Destroying yourself with drugs is such a waste of life and destroys not only you but entire families.
