It says in the official press release PDF attachment; something about not pursuing any cival charges against him, as agreed in his plea agreement.I'm not sure which charges its referring to. I think that's just on a federal level though, I'm sure they can still pursue at the county level

When a congressman/officer/teacher/or any other person who is/has authority over others commits crimes; they should be given DOUBLE sentences!

Appears instead of our current administration spying on average citizens; they should be investigating their own people. Appears the criminals ALL work within our govt agencies today!!!

People who LIE always get caught! People who break laws always get caught! No one gets away with it for long. Glad to see he finally admitted his guilt. Now on to his other charges. Sure isn't looking very good for him on that now.

Appears a lot of folks that got arrested by Upshur's last sheriff doesn't like him very well. I think that is understandable. As for the law-abiding citizens; we LOVE him so much, when he runs again later on we're going to vote for him a THIRD TIME!!!

Aw that's too bad... NOT! Good riddance, now what about the deputy that lied for him? They should get them for filing a false report, at minimum. Crime doesn't pay.

Hawkins looks like a Sunday school teacher compared to Upshur counties last Sheriff.
