This is not the only stinking thing going on in Barbour Co. Keep on looking stuff like this has gone on for years here. No one will stand up. Very Sad What about are childern? Thanks Inter Mountain The Barbour paper is unreliable, BAD COPS, BAD LAWERS. CROOKS!

When law enforcement officers go bad, their sentence should automatically double. These people are held in trust by the people, and they have an obligation to honor that trust. Who else should know the law better than a sheriff or deputy? When they knowingly violate the law, then they should be made an example of as a warning to the next person in line for their job.

When an officer is more guilty than the people they are arresting, we have a complete break down of the system, but it happens all the time. Cases like this, judges cutting underhanded deals when their daughter or son is arrested, and someone with less influence gets the book thrown at them for the same offenses. I know a man in Buckhannon who was arrested 6 times for DUI before he ever spent a day in jail. You know what they say, "It's not who you know, it's who you...."
