We did block scheduling, not switching every day but switching halfway through the year. It worked fine. I think they had marching band for the first half and then concert and jazz band for the second when marching season was over, which was nice because some of the musically inclined people are just too darn uncoordinated to march.

I personally do not like A-B Block but it does eliminate the problem that Mr. Williams has with traditional Block Scheduling. A-B Block will let them have a band class every other day for 87 minutes a day.
