Certain West Virginia sport fish have been found to have low levels of chemicals like polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), mercury, selenium and dioxin. To protect the good health of West Virginians, the West Virginia DHHR offers an advisory for how often these fish can be safely eaten. An advisory is advice, and should not be viewed as law or regulation. It is intended to help anglers and their families make educated choices about: where to fish, what types of fish to eat, how to limit the amount and frequency of fish eaten, and how to prepare and cook fish to reduce contaminants. DHHR recommends most fish be limited to no more than one serving per month. Some fish they recommend you do not eat at all. In the future eating fish could be almost as bad for you as drugs. For more info visit the DHHR website.

By the way...I'm all for the program, it just seemed like a good time to make a point. If the waters that bad here in West Virginia think how bad it is in other places.

No babbling, just the truth, like it or not. You don't have to take my word for it. Look at the website WVDHHR**** It recommends no more than one serving per month of certain fish in different streams and rivers. it says no more than one serving per year. It recommends not to eat some fish at all. Basically what you're saying is that republicans don't care about your health, or the enviroment. That doesn't sit well with some of your outdoorsman

I'm just wondering, what reason would a person have to not care about the environment?

In fact I would say that the environment is one issue that republicans could lean towards to win over some of the independent voters.

Aww poor Dave must have heard about Florida's election today in news. Democrats LOST to a Republican conservative. Get used to it. Even liberal seniors in Florida have seen, heard and felt enough lies/pain from the democrats over past 5 years. EVERYONE'S fed up with the hypocrisy, lies, deceit and taxes of the DEMOCRATS>

Here says: Look at the website WVDHHR**** It recommends no more than one serving per month of certain fish in different streams and rivers. it says no more than one serving per year.

Is that the same DHHR that refuses to admit mistakes on website of Obamacare? Same DHHR that supports controlling YOUR life and considering anyone that paddles their child a monster? Oh sure, I'll believe those govt jokers.

That's your biggest problem Here. Blindly following the fools.

Here... yet liberals and govt officials say it's okay to poison our bodies with genetically modified fake food with no vitamins/nutritional value. Oh please, go spread that bunk to your friends. Most of us are too intelligent to follow fools.

Yeah and govt sponsored 'fluoride' in your water is GOOD FOR YOU too. eh? Geez; how gullible are you Here?

Of course I know the question, I'm the one that posted it. Obviously you don't have a good answer.

Everybody needs to just calm down. DHHR was just suggesting things. They already know they can't fix stupid. My suggestion is to simply throw everything into a deep fryer. Make some beer batter and play some banjo classics. Either way we have insurance we can't keep and that "affordable" Obamacare is somehow going to save us from cardiac arrest right?

Arthur Herbert Fonzarelli (also known as "Fonzie", "Fonz", or "The Fonz") is a fictional character played by Henry Winkler in the American sitcom Happy Days (1974–1984). Fonz was born to an Italian-American family in the fictional town of East Meadow. As a child, he and his mother were abandoned by his father. The only advice Fonz remembered his father giving was, "Don't go out in the rain in your socks." Fonzie has a very high moral code. He always treats others with respect and sticks up for those that can't defend themselves.
