Manchin voting his conscience

March 12, 2014

Too many positions taken by members of Congress are based on politics, not what is good for the nation or what their consciences dictate. So, strange as it may seem, U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va....

I've made no bones about saying that I never trusted Manchin, and never will. He's always been wishy-washy, indecisive and untrustworthy. When he speaks, his eyes are all over the place as if he's looking for a way to avoid the truth. I don't trust anyone who won't look me straight in the eyes when they address me. Watch the eyes folks. It's a known fact that people do certain things with their eyes when they talk, and it's a good indicator of their honesty when they move them a certain way, just as it's as equally certain they're lying when they do the opposite. Ask any detective, they'll tell you the eyes are a dead give away when interrogating criminals. Manchin has never passed the eye test, even when he's on TV. He showed his true colors more than once recently.

My perspective of Joe Manchin is he's like a leaf blowing around the patio in all different directions, well it's sort of like "he ain't found his groove yet", don't know which direction to go. In some aspects though he reminds me of another ex-Democrat Governor from New Jersey, Jim Florio. Yup Florio was all so pro second amendment then flip flopped, he even went to NRA dinners and back slapped the NJ Association of Rifle and Pistol Clubs of what a fine job they were doing, only to change his spots after getting elected. Oh how I remember the sign in PA coming across the Delaware River,"Welcome to PA,America starts here",yup even one such in Maryland urging NJ residents to oust Jim Florio. A little ole lady unknown, unheard of,Christine Todd Whitman ran on reversing his anti gun laws and beat Florio to the pulp. The NRA rebuffed and wouldn't let the nose of the camel(2 noses)Manchin and Tommey's in the tent to chip away at the Second Amendment, truly a wolf in sheep

I think Manchin did the right thing by voting against this man, but did he do for the right reason. Manchin has pulled some very underhanded stunts since he went to Washington, and I don't trust him at all. Anyone who claims to be pro-gun and then side with Obama in his unconstitutional gun bans will forever be on my bad side. I dislike lawyers even more willingly represent murderers like Wesley Cook, better known to the world as Mumia Abu-Jamal. There's no question about Jamal's guilt, and he deserved the death sentence. Debo's decision to represent Jamal was as racially jaded as was Obama's decision to nominate him. He knew the reaction that would follow over the nomination, but as usual, he doesn't care. If he can slap the good citizens of this country in the face, he'll take every opportunity to do so that comes along.

Republican David Jolly defeated Democrat Alex Sink in a Florida special election Tuesday that largely turned on the federal health care law. Democrat Sink spent 3 times the money on tv ads and it did her no good. She lost.

Alex Sink, democrat well, 'sunk' and lost! People are fed up with the dems and their controlling agenda.

Manchin and other dems know we're fed up.

WHERE was Manchin's "conscience" when he supported Obamacare? WHERE was Manchin's "conscience" when he pretended during his election campaign to be a pro-2nd amendment politician waving his rifle at the pages of Obamacare, PRETENDING to hate both the socialist healthcare bill AND the gun bans??????

THIS is an election year folks. Manchin's got his "damage control" professionals on SPEED DIAL!
