March 22, 2014

Children learn health habits early. They eat what adults give them, and they exercise like people they see at home, in school or on TV. Most of the health choices families make are automatic....

Yeah Michelle Obama's 'healthier' school lunch menus are more unhealthy for kids than what they ever could eat at home. The Blaze has pictures that students took of their lunch trays all over the country and what they get is 3 cherry tomatoes and a bland dried up hamburger with nothing on it. Where's the "fruits and veggies?" Where's the grains? LOL.

These progressives are stealing the money from taxpayers. Several govt agencies have NO idea (oh yes they really do!) where MILLIONS of dollars have gone from every state in the nation! Oh they know. The 'saving' from these pathetic starvation school meals is going in SOMEONES pocket!

When I see teachers criticizing parents for their poor choices in nutrition, I have to chuckle. It's difficult to get serious about articles like this when most of the teachers, especially females, walking around with a butt as wide as a boxcar, and muffin rolls larger than your average kiddie pool. If you're looking for a group of individuals to represent the fitness community, you sure wouldn't look towards school teachers. Most of them are so out of shape they would die of a heart attack running to their car.

I remember a teacher who did home visits for the Upshur County schools to see how the children were living. I was in this teachers home once on business, and I never saw such a filthy home in my life. There was garbage piled up in the halls, on tables, and the dining room table had dirty dishes piled on it that has to have been there more than a year, and she was judging parents on their housekeeping? You had to see this place. I've seen cleaner garbage dumps.
