Why was a change made? The seminar just recommended that the change be made. The change was not ordered. If you didn't want the change made, why was it made? Did the council pass a resolution making the change? If council didn't, then why do you need one to change it back?

In b4: Not saying it isn't important to HIM. I'm just saying that for most people, it's an arbitrary practice that has zero meaning other than, "Do it or you'll get in trouble."

Really? Not saying a pledge is the thing that's going to ruin this country? A pledge that most people have to memorize and recite in school and have really no idea what it means or why they say it? If kids in China did this, we'd call it a horrific Communist practice that proves they have no personal freedom. I don't care if you take your moment of silence or say your pledge, but seriously.

There are outrageous things going on in our country, state, and even city, and this is the thing they want letters and phone calls and public outcry for. Chew on that for a while.
