Rockefeller aims to reverse war on coal

May 15, 2014

It makes no sense for the U.S. government to be concentrating on ways to stop using our most plentiful, economical source of energy — coal — instead of finding better ways to benefit from it....

You can always count on democrats for one thing: They'll always change their mind on any issue when it depends on their campaigns for re-election. Dems are very well known for flip-flopping on issues but ONLY during an election year.

Lies lies and more lies. Enough already! We're NOT buying it anymore.

Oops, the left's war on coal is hurting wealthy Rocky's coal industry millions...uh-oh just another "not thought out well" liberal agenda that NOW has them 'feeling' the consequences. Aww...don't expect sympathy from the hard workers of this nation you've all harmed with your arrogant disrespectful, unsympathetic rants 5 years ago. Justice would be if you all lost as big a percentage of your ill gotten wealth that you caused citizens to lose!

Interesting. Another democrat doing the 'reversal' thingy right before elections! Here's my shocked face, :o

I only wonder who offered him what in return for switching his 5 year war on coal attitude shared with Obama as he had all those photo ops plastered all over television 5 years ago. What happened Rockefeller?

I don't trust anyone's SECOND decision/reversals on their views/opinions when they made it perfectly and arrogantly clear how/where they stood on that issue for several years prior.

Never trust someone who can't seem to decide WHAT they're for and against and their 'views' coincide with whichever way the wind blows today....how will he feel tomorrow? Wishy-washy politicians just prove they're not dependable, not steadfast and have NO loyalty to anyone or anything that today they say they are for or against. No substance and no character, no morals, and they can't stand for anything on principles or character.

What's in it for YOU Rockefeller?

What's ole Rocky up to now? He sat on his ass, doing nothing about Obama's attack on coal, and now here comes Superman to save the day. Either one of two things has happened. He either found a new way to profit from coal or Obama is hurting his mid western coal interest.

This old carpetbagger isn't doing it out of the goodness of his heart, or because it's "good" for West Virginia. He's got something up his sleeve, and you can bet it will be good for him and bad for everyone else. I wonder what position he has had his eye on since he decided not to run for another term in the senate?
