I don't think West Virginia is leaving the Democratic Party as much as the Democratic Party is leaving West Virginia under our current political leadership. West Virginia long enjoyed a symbiotic relationship with a Democratic Party that supported coal miners and unions. But more recent Democratic policies, from social liberalism to environmentalism, have fanned the winds of change

Democrats are embarassing. No one wants to associate with them. Even Manchin and other dems are running when Obama comes to their state for fundraisers. It's funny watching them run and hide now, when they spent the first few years showing nothing but disrespect for their constituents who disagreed with their 'forcing of the healthcare bill.' They're not laughing now at us as they see their buddies lose their positions each election. And November will throw the rest of the bums out!

These dems are ruining this state, this nation with their incompetence and ignorance on issues. Our nation is more UNSAFE each day. Crime is worse now than ever before. Economy getting worse. They can't keep printing money forever. At some point everything collapses; and that is just what they're waiting and hoping for. We won't allow it. November is coming quickly.

This is something I've waited on all my life, West Virginia a Republican state. The Democrats have had a stranglehold on this state long enough. You have them to thank for the low ranking West Virginia has had for decades. All they care about is hurting this state and keeping the people living here as poor as a church mouse. We need to get people back to work, not on welfare. One in five people these days collects some sort of public assistance. That's pretty sad when you think about it. The US was the most industrialized country on earth after WWII and look at us now, a welfare state. This is not the America I knew when I was young. Good riddance to the Democrats.
