Often, the agendas of today’s politicians are completely built upon misguided premises and outright misconceptions. Although this is nothing new historically, someone’s got to poke a hot stick in the eyes of these wan-a-bes because when they get their way (which is more often than not in this political climate), we all lose some of our freedom.

It seems to me that our past is manifesting in our present, which leads me to ask, how do we change the past?

If you've have followed any of my other post you already know the answer, you can't change the past. It is not the past that needs to change; it is us who need to change. You can't change the words that were spoken, the inappropriate contact, your past environment, or anything from the past so all that is left is you.

God allowed you to make it through that past and he did so for a reason and that reason was not so your past could consume you. A man who loses his wife after 50 years of marriage can't go back and undo the wedding, the marriage, or even his wife's death. He finds that change has to happen but he also discovers that change is not easy. I understand the changes we need to make are not easy but we need to understand the necessity of the change or our hurts, habits, and hang-ups will continue to consume us.

We must stop dealing with our past by fretting, guilt, self-pity, discouragement, and regrets. Would of; could of; should of’s" lead to despair and hopelessness. In short, to deal with our past we must enter into repentance.

We have to do what Paul talked about in Romans 12:2, be transformed by the renewing of our minds. A change of mind leads to a changed life.

When is a door not a door? When it’s ajar. Now rethink that simple question. When is a door not a door? When it’s something else. Change does not take place when certain changes take place but only when there is actual change.

You know what I like about being 66 and not 26 or 36? I actually feel that I’ve gained some wisdom about life, the universe, and everything. I feel comfortable in my own skin. I don’t need to prove anything to anyone, or earn other persons approval. Life is not a competition where you’re supposed to beat others to the finish line.

There’s nothing wrong about being an aging man. I haven’t lost my love for life, the passion, or the vitality. I still have all my wits intact. I enjoy the simple things like a cold beer, a good meal, a thoughtful conversation, and a good looking hat.

I hope the voter's memories last at LEAST until November. She is DESPARATELY trying to distance herself from OBAMA. Her hero, FOR WHOM SHE CAMPAIGNED, is doing everything he can to destroy West Virginia. He HATES people like us who "cling to our guns and our Bibles", so I assume Natalie does too. He swore he would destroy coal before he ever got elected, and in his second term it looks like he's making good on his promise, and the traitors of West Virginia, the environmental NUTS, are cheering him on. Natalie has to be tarred and feathered with OBAMA. She worked for him, knowing what he was, and what he believed in.

If we can't see that and respond accordingly, we are in deeper trouble than she and OBAMA can heap upon us!

Secretary of State Natalie Tennant’s office scrapped plans to charge fees for some business and nonprofit licensing documents.

IT was 'free' online at first. Until some 'incompetence' in the SOS office allowed a business person's social security to be on one of the papers online.

And by the way, she decided also to give a free pass on the fees to media. Isn't that discrimination? Charge the rest of us but not media? Kind of sounds Obama-ish eh? Obamacare has all sorts of democrat 'freebies' for certain folks. Oh yeah, they like to pick and choose who gets special treatment.

Didn't take long for her 'feedback' to get her to turn around her decision to charge fees. Dems like fees because most citizens who want to take advantage of right to information cannot afford it.

So much for democrats' 'transparency.' Fees/taxes is how to ensure Non-transparency. If you want transparency, I guess you must 'pay' for it.

Tennant also doesn't like Voter ID! As a democrat, they don't want our voting laws to be 'working' so well that no fraud can be comitted at election time.

VOTER ID works. And democrats don't want it. There is only ONE reason someone wouldn't want stricter laws against comitting fraud at elections---so THIS says a lot about those who do not want it.

Tennant is PRO Obama. Which proves she knows NOTHING about business much less GROWTH!

Tennant agrees with Obama on the "War on Coal" and the EPA and causing poor WV citizens to end up with "Qudadruple" utility rates through Obama's Cap and Trade!

So Tennant, after you and dems kill our coal plants and this winter WV experiences a lot of blackouts due to LOWER coal plants supplying electricity to our homes...how WILL you explain yourself then???

Pretending to be something you're not only because you want to be part of the oppressive govt leech club, isn't working here. WV citizens are too smart to not recognize 'fake' when they see or hear it. You can't run or hide from your clearly held position on Obama's war on coal. And your dismal record of doing your job as Sec. of state in WV is appalling yet not surprising. FAILING to mail out papers to county clerks to clean up voting rolls of dead folks, folks who've moved away is a 'clear indication' that you're just a
