HAS Students Attend Leadership Training

October 4, 2007
The Inter-Mountain
Ten Student Association leaders from Highland Adventist School in Elkins recently attended Columbia Union's annual Spiritual Academy Leadership Training (SALT) program in Kettering, Ohio.

“Our student association officers are strong, Christian young people who want to make a positive difference in our school and community,” Highland Principal Cheryl Jacko said. “This annual training event helps to strengthen their Christian commitment while providing training in specific leadership skills related to their Student Association responsibilities.  We look forward to the leadership contribution of each one of the students who attended the SALT program.”

Highland Adventist School, located at 1 Old Leadsville Road, Elkins, provides leadership training and opportunities for every student and enriched, Christian curriculum for students in grades K-12.

For more information, call the school at 636-4274 or visit the school’s Web site at www.highlandadventistschool.org.
