The bride is the daughter of Marlene and Phil Kyle of Elkins. She is the granddaughter of the late Eva and Clifford Kyle, and the late Dena and Owen “Lefty” Foreback.
Her fiance is the son of Laraine and Gary Watkins of Columbia, S.C. He is the grandson of the late Dorothy and Charles Watkins, and the late Elizabeth and Harding “Bunt” Fisk.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Pronovias design from Spain. The strapless, mermaid silhouette was covered with ruched ivory tulle over silk. The bodice was embellished with an asymmetrical design of crystals, beading and iridescent sequins. The hemline fell into a sweep train. She wore a fingertip-length veil that matched the gown, with an adorned headpiece of Swarovski crystals and iridescent beading. She carried a fragrant bouquet of white peonies, light blue delphinium and white roses designed by Tammy’s Floral and Bridal Gallery.
Jennifer LaMora of Elkins served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carrie Skeen of Scottsdale, Ariz., Patsy Whittington of Jacksonville, Fla., Erin Haines of Jacksonville, Fla., and Jessica Harvey of Morgantown. The bride’s attendants wore a latte-colored sleeveless satin V-neck dress with a slim skirt.
Serving as best man was the bridegroom’s brother, Eric Watkins of Watertown, N.Y. The bride’s brother, Scott Kyle of Arlington, Va., served as groomsman. Additional groomsmen were Chad Raphael of Nashville, Tenn., Brian Humphreys of Jacksonville, Fla., and Steven Longard of Nashville, Tenn. Bobby Haines of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mark Hill of Nashville, Tenn., served as ushers.
Audrie Dyer, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl, and Peyton Kirkpatrick, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer. Tiffany Kiess and Amber Kiess attended the guest book and programs.
The ceremony was followed by a reception at Halliehurst. Davis & Elkins College Dining Services catered the buffet dinner, and Xtreme Entertainment provided reception music.
Dr. Melody Meadows provided organ accompaniment for the ceremony as well as piano accompaniment during the cocktail hour of the reception. Suzanne Carter created a four-tiered wedding cake for the reception, and Christie Kepner of Foto 1 took photos.
Following a honeymoon in Napa, Calif., the couple resides in Jacksonville, Fla.
