Wilson - McKenrick

Tangela Lyn McKenrick and Allen Jay Wilson were married on Nov. 3 in Elkins. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Robert Leard and Pastor Michael Fulton.

The bride is the daughter of Barbara Jean McKenrick of Glen Burnie, Md., and the late William David McKenrick. She is the mother of Krystina Lyn and Amanda Jo Taylor.

The bridegroom is the son of Gwen Wilson of Bend, Ore., and the late David Wilson. He is the father of Matthew Wilson.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Timothy McKenrick, in honor of their late father. She wore an ivory candlelight and champagne beaded tiered dress. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses.

Serving as maid of honor was Michelle McKenrick, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Krystina Taylor, daughter of the bride, and Patty Fulton, friend of the bride.

Serving as best man was Michael Isenhart, friend of the bridegroom. Groomsman was Brian Ungar, cousin of the bridegroom. Master Scotty Tayor, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted at CJ Maggies in Elkins. The wedding song was “God Blessed the Broken Road” by Rascall Flatts.

The couple enjoyed an exotic Eastern Caribbean cruise and now resides in Parsons.
