The American Lung Association of West Virginia is hosting a 100-mile benefit ride on the Greenbriar River Trail on May 15 through the 18.

Elkins Chiropractor Dr. Morgan Jones will be riding for team “Hellbenders” on the main ride from Snowshoe to Lewisberg along with several other riders on his team and many others for the association.

Jones has pledged to ride not only the 100-mile river trail, but if he collects more than $900, he will also ride the ascent up to Snowshoe before starting the rest of the ride.

The Jones Chiropractic office has recently sponsored a raffle for the association’s benefit and the winner received an Easter basket donated by Sweet Temptations. The office’s second raffle is currently under way and the winner will walk away with a “Barbecue Basket” that includes a $50 gift certificate from Campbell’s Market in Beverly, and a selection of “Wild Bill” sauces and condiments from the FLY Market of Montrose. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. The drawing will be May 11.

Anyone interested in buying tickets can call Jones Chiropractic at 636-3570 or stop by the office. Donations or sponsorships may also be made at the office or pledged on the Web page http://www.mrsnv.com/evt/e01/part.jsp?id=1848&acct=2623058302&rid=0. Donations can also be made directly to the American Lung Association of West Virginia.

For more information on the state association, call 342-6600, 1-800-LUNG-USA or visit www.alawv.org.
