Deerfield Village to Be Sold at Auction

Deerfield Village in Canaan Valley will be sold at a bankruptcy auction on April 18 at 1 p.m. by the Joe R. Pyle Complete Auction and Realty Service of Mt. Morris, Pa. The auction will take place on site.

Deerfield Property Management LLC currently owns the property known as Deerfield Village in the Dry Fork District of Tucker County. Improvements on the approximately 3.565 acre lot consist of 1,300 square feet of office space, 2,700 square feet of retail space and 620 square feet of storage and fitting rooms. The building has a forced air HVAC system.

Improvements also include The Deerfield Restaurant, which will be included in the auction. The restaurant has two, fully equipped dining areas, complete kitchen, separate bar, walk-in coolers and a large paved parking area. The building has a forced air HVAC environmental system.

A legal description of the property may be found in Deed Book 178, Page 312, at the Tucker County Courthouse.

Terms of the sale are a 10 percent, nonrefundable down payment made the day of auction with balance due at closing. There are no financing contingencies. Any required inspections must be completed prior to bidding. The property will be sold as is with no warranty, written or implied.
