Linda L. Harris

Linda Lou Harris, 62, loving wife, mother and grandmother of Route 1 Volga passed awat Wednesday May 7, 2008 at her residence. She was born on Oct. 30, 1945 in Parsons, a daughter of the late Paul Hammond and Virginia (Burkey) Hammond who survives. Mrs. Harris was united in marriage May 2, 1964 to Denver R. Harris who survives.

Also surviving; four daughters, Paulette and husband Bill Rohrman, of Baltimore, Md., Brittany Harris, Tammy Harris, both of Volga and Chris Harris of Whiteford, Md. Two sons, Paul Harris of Volga and Wayne Harris of Whiteford, Md. Two brothers, Ron and Wife Chris Hammond of Taneytown, Md., Bob and Wife Elaine Clingerman of Fork Md. Five grandchildren; Katrina Rohram, Ashley Runyon, Robert Rohrman, PJ Harris, Cody Harris. Three great grandchildren Kolby Malloy, Hannah and Dustie Runyon.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Dingus.

Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.

Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home, 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on May 9 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and saturday May 10 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. the service hour with Pastor Randy Simms officiating.
