Registration Open for NRCTC
Registration is now under way for the second term of summer college classes at the four campuses of New River Community and Technical College.
Offices on the New River Campus in Beckley, Bluefield, Greenbrier Valley in Lewisburg and the Nicholas County Campus in Summersville will be open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays to register students for the second summer term which begins Monday and ends July 31.
In addition to the traditional classes, New River campuses are also offering a number of online and Internet classes to help students with the gasoline and travel problems.
The summer classes being offered have been chosen with the New River students in mind, but college officials emphasize students from other colleges can enroll in New River summer classes and the credits will transfer to an equally accredited college or university.
New River is a fully accredited, independent community and technical college serving nine central and southern counties from the four campuses this summer. For information, visit the Web site at www.newriver.edu.
