The bride is the daughter of Teena Currence Wallace of Beverly and James Ward Wallace of Elkins.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jones Walker Jr. of Lewisburg.

The bride graduated from Mary Baldwin College in May 2005 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She later received a master's degree in teaching from Mary Baldwin.
The bridegroom graduated from Duke University in May 2003 with a bachelor's degree in biomedical and electrical engineering. He is associated with Medtronic Inc. as a technical sales representative.
The couple took a wedding trip to the Mayan Riviera, Mexico, before returning to their new home in Asheville, N.C.
