Jessie Kathleen Shea and Douglas Lee Holbrook were married on Aug. 31 at Central United Methodist Church in Asheboro, N.C., with the Rev. Mark Key and the Rev. Greg Ferrin officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Chris and Lisa Hager Shea of Asheboro, N.C. She is the granddaughter of Mel and Vonnie Hager of Buckhannon and Francine Shea of Weston and the late Charles Shea.
She is a graduate of Asheboro High School and Leons Beauty Academy with a degree in aesthetics. She is employed by Mac Cosmetics, a division of Estee Lauder Corp.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a long, white strapless krinkle taffeta gown with a long train and white net veil. Her bouquet contained various shades of fall hydrangia.
The bridegroom is the son of Mike and Brenda Holbrook of Thomasville, N.C. He is the grandson of the late Douglas and Ann Holbrook and the late William and Shirley Duncan. He is a graduate of East Davidson High School and Greensboro North Carolina College with a degree in sports information systems technology. He is employed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
Serving as maid of honor was Brooke Martin of Randleman, N.C., a friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amber Cable of Asheboro, N.C., and Laura Leonard of Thomasville, N.C., friends of the bride and Jillian Kelly of Orlando, Fla., the brides cousin. The flower girl was Ivy Yost of Morgantown, cousin of the bride.
The bridegroom's brother, Michael Holbrook of Thomasville, N.C., served as best man. Groomsmen were Brian Peele of Sophia, N.C., Derek Martin of Randleman, N.C., and Mike Benard of Durham, N.C., all friends of the bridegroom. The ring bearer was Casey Shea, brother of the bride.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Matthew Hoover, guitarist, and Jennifer Brigman, vocalist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted at New Life Fellowship Center in Asheboro. Music for the reception was provided by D.J. Chris Aghaei.
