Mr. and Mrs. Edwin M. Smith of Studley, Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Ann Smith, to Michael Jeffrey Welshonce, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey C. Welshonce of Elkins.
The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Bridgewater College with a degree in history and political science.
Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a degree in criminal justice and is employed by Montgomery County Department of Social Services.
