Tumble Time level 3 gymnasts compete in Shady Spring meet

Tumble Time level 3 gymnasts recently competed in the West Virginia Junior Olympic State Meet in Shady Spring. This was the last meet of the season for the gymnasts.

Three gymnasts returned home as all-around state champions in their age divisions.

Paige Cooper of Elkins competed in the 8-year-old group and received a gold medal for her bar routine with a score of 9.1, and a silver medal on the vault, which scored a 9.075. She finished the all-around with a 35.1 and received a gold medal.

Morgan Bowers of Coalton competed in the 6-year-old division. She scored a 9.0 and a silver medal on the bar routine, and an 8.75 and silver medal on the floor. She finished with a 34.9 all-around score and was awarded first place.

Presley Bates of Coalton competed in the 7-year-old group. She captured a gold medal with her beam routine of 8.9, received silver medals for her bar and floor routines as well as a bronze medal on vault. She finished with an all-around score of 34.3 and a received a gold medal.

Frankie Scott of Mill Creek competed in the 6-year-old group and captured a bronze medal for her vault that scored an 8.45. She finished in sixth place with an all-around score of 32.2.

Rachel Crawford of Elkins competed in the 6-year-old group. Her floor exercise scored an 8.5 and was awarded fourth place. She finished in sixth place with an all-around score of 33.1.

Zoe Payne of Belington competed in the 7-year-old group. She captured bronze medals on the bars and floor with scores of 8.325 and 8.35. She finished with an all-around score of 33.825 and a bronze medal.

Shelby Collins of Belington competed in the 7-year-old group. She captured a pair of silver medals on her beam routine and vault with scores of 9.0 and 8.8, and finished in fifth place with an all-around score of 33.35.

Alli Hopwood of Elkins competed in the 8-year-old division. She captured a bronze medal for her beam routine that scored an 8.75 and scored an 8.35 on the floor routine.

Kaylee Malcolm of Elkins competed in the 11 and older division. She scored an 8.75 on the vault and finished with an all-around score of 33.425.
