Cristy Marie Varner and Shane Cornell Meade were married on Feb. 25 at the Grand Old House at Water's Edge, Grand Cayman Islands. The Rev. Oral McLaughlin officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Gloria Varner of Redding, Calif.
The bridegroom is the son of Linton and Cindy Wright of Elkins. He is a 1992 graduate of Elkins High School, a 1997 graduate of Davis & Elkins College and a 2000 graduate of Marshall University.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a white dress with a beaded metallic lace bodice with an inverted V-empire, taffeta pick-up and lace up back with a sweep train. Her bouquet consisted of red roses. The flower arrangements were created by Brian Lane of Tampa, Fla.
Michelle Zacur of Finleyville, Pa., served as the maid of honor. David Corbin of Mesa, Ariz., was best man.
Family and friends from West Virginia, Pennsylvania, California, Arizona, and New York, were all in attendance and took a week-long cruise aboard the Carnival Cruise Ship Inspiration arriving in the Grand Cayman Islands, and Cozumel, Mexico.
Carnival Cruise was in charge of the reception on board the ship.
The couple reside in Land-O-Lakes, Fla., where the bride is a trauma nurse for Tampa General Hospital and the bridegroom is lead vocalist and musician with his band, Shane Meade and the Sound.
The couple flew to Hawaii for the remainder of the honeymoon.
