Stanley and Wanda Painter will celebrate their 45th anniversary today.
They were married in Winchester, Va., by the Rev. Harold Gunoe in 1964.
They made their home in Franklin until Mr. Painter transferred to Elkins with Monongahela Power Co. in 1989. He retired in 1996. Mrs. Painter retired from the Pill Box Pharmacy in Franklin upon their move.

They are the parents of three daughters, Lisa Mallow and husband, Steve, of Upper Tract, Ashley Hively and husband, Jim, of Beverly, and Sonja Priester of Fairmont. They have five grandchildren, Anne, Sarah and Christopher Mallow and Stefan and Carter Priester.
