Emily Ann LaFayette and Rogers Rockwell Earl Jr. were married on May 23 in the Town Square in Elkins. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Ellis Conley of First United Methodist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Evette LaFayette of Beverly. She is the granddaughter of Troy Tackett and the late Robert and Marguerite Garben of Southold, N.Y.

The bridegroom is the son of Rogers and Jill Earl of New Providence, Pa.

The bride and bridegroom were given in marriage by their parents, and the bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore an ivory satin strapless fit-and-flare bridal gown with taupe accents and detailed with embroidery and beading. She carried a fresh bouquet of gerbera daisies and white roses adorned with ivory ribbon.

Serving as maid of honor was Mary Fromm, a friend of the bride. Her gown was Ferrari red. Bridesmaids Sara and Elizabeth LaFayette, sisters of the bride, wore gowns in persimmon. Their strapless satin gowns had a wide satin belt detail. They carried hand-tied bouquets of gerbera daisies.

Flower girl was Holly Bregg, niece of the bridegroom. She wore an ivory sleeveless satin dress adorned with pink satin ribbon. She carried a pomander of gerbera daisies and pink carnations on an ivory ribbon.

Serving as best man was Joshua Earl, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Jeremy Schneider, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Bradley Shimrack, friend of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Hayden Bregg, nephew of the bridegroom. The bridegroom's attendants wore black tuxedos and ties and vests in colors to match the bride's attendants.

The pianist was Gale Poe Howell of Elkins. The vocalist was Linda Wagner. Guestbook and program attendant was Virginia Earl, sister of the bridegroom. Processional coordinator was Verity Earl, sister of the bridegroom. Photographs were taken by Heather Kessler of WV Imagery. The flowers for the ceremony were designed by Mary's Greenhouse.

Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted at Halliehurst Mansion in Elkins. Catering was provided by Davis & Elkins College, coordinated by Michael Ratliff. Music was provided by the Fenders Band. The three-tier, round cake with gerbera daisies was designed by Suzanne Carter.

Following a tropical honeymoon to the Riviera Maya of Mexico, the couple now reside in Elkins.
