POE - The reunion of the descendants of Tom and Minnie Koon Poe will be Saturday in the pavilion along the road in Elkins City Park. Lunch will be at noon. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and an item for the auction. There will also be a 50/50 drawing.

BROWN - The 29th reunion of the family of Emmett and Gracie Brown will begin at noon Saturday at the Tygart Valley Baptist Church on Files Creek Road. There will be a Yankee drawing. For more information, call 304-636-5484.

BENNETT - The reunion of the family of the late John and Nellie Davis Bennett will be Saturday in the pavilion at 4-H Camp Pioneer.

COSNER - The Cosner reunion will be Saturday at Betty's house on the Glady Road. Dinner will begin at 1 p.m. Plates, cups, napkins and silverware will be provided. Hot dogs, buns, marshmallows, ketchup, mustard and all the fixings will be provided. Other activities will be a hot dog and marshmallow roast.

BELL-DAY - The annual Bell-Day reunion will be from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday in the pavilion at Alpine Shores Campground. Family and friends attending are asked to bring a picnic lunch.

SHAFFER-WILLIAMS - The Shaffer-Williams reunion will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Izaak Walton League near Beverly. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and an item for the auction. HARLAN - The annual Harlan reunion will be Saturday at Phillips Chapel Park in Jimtown. Lunch will be at 12:30 p.m., hot dog supper at 5:30 p.m. and cakewalk at 6:30 p.m. followed by a DJ and dance.

HEDRICK- The Hedrick reunion will be Sunday at the residence of Woodie Hedrick on Stalnaker Run. Lunch will be at 12:30 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.

ANDERSON, FISHER, BENDER AND HISSAM - The 41st reunion of the Anderson, Fisher, Bender and Hissam family will be Sunday in the old pavilion at Holly River State Park. BLUE ROCK CHURCH Homecoming - will be Sunday. Sunday school will be at 10 a.m., covered-dish dinner at noon and worship service at 1:30 p.m. Ralph Summerfield is pastor of the church.

LANTZ - The Lantz family reunion will be Sunday at North Buckhannon River Park pavilion No. 1. A covered dish lunch will be at 12:30 p.m.

HIGHLAND PARK ONE- AND THREE-ROOM SCHOOL - The first ever Highland Park one- and three-room school reunion will begin at noon July 25 at the school playground. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, lawn chair, old photos or memorabilia and an item for the silent auction. PURKEY - The Purkey family reunion will be at 1 p.m. July 25 at the Israel United Methodist Church in Kerens.

BRENWALD (BRENWALT) - The Brenwald (Brenwalt) reunion will be at 11 a.m. July 25 at Phillips Chapel on Route 151 between Buckhannon and Elkins.

IRONS - The Irons reunion will be July 25 at Irons Chapel Church on Pheasant Run. Lunch will be at 12:30 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a picnic lunch.

HYMES-CATHELL - The Hymes-Cathell reunion will be July 25 in the round pavilion at Belington City Park. Lunch will be at noon. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.

WHITE - The annual White reunion will be July 26 at Mill Race Park in Parsons. A covered-dish lunch will be at 1:30 p.m. Activities will include a brown bag auction, raffles and games. For more information, call Lynn at 304-636-4289.

SCOTT - The 2009 Scott reunion will be July 26 at Camp Pioneer in Beverly. Lunch will be at 12:30 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, baked goods and items for the country store. BROWNING - The reunion of the descendants of James H. and Nancy A. Longette Browning will be July 26 in Belington City Park located on Crim Avenue. KNUTTI - The 75th Knutti family reunion will be July 26 at the Alpena Church pavilion. Church service will be at 11 a.m. at the church. Lunch will be at 1 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. A program will be presented at 2 p.m.

WATSON-ROSS - The reunion of the descendants of Perry Watson and Stanley Ross will be at noon July 26 at Elkins City Park. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.

BLEWITT-LANTZ - The Blewitt-Lantz reunion will be July 26 at the Dry Fork Community Center. Lunch will be at 12:30 p.m.

COLLIER - The 50th annual Collier reunion will be Aug. 1 at the residence of Franklin and Lola Collier on the back road between Valley Bend and Mill Creek. A picnic buffet will be served at 1 p.m.

FORTNEY - The 23rd annual Fortney reunion for family and friends of the late James and Anna (Wentz) Fortney will begin at 11 a.m. Aug.1 at the North Buckhannon Park pavilion No. 2. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and a gift for the white elephant sale. There will also be games and a scavenger hunt.

CROSS - The reunion of the family of Coleman and Anna Carr Cross will be Aug. 1 at Camp Hope located off Route 92. There will be signs. SHIPMAN-GIFFORD-SMITH - The Shipman-Gifford-Smith reunion will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 1 at the union hall at Century No. 1, cross the railroad tracks and turn left. WHITE - The 78th reunion of the descendants of Peregrine White will begin at noon Aug. 2 at Watters Smith Memorial State Park, Oak Ridge Shelter. Those attending are asked to bring covered dish, craft, plant or gently used items to contribute to auction. There will be a silent auction to benefit reunion fund. PENNINGTON - The13th annual reunion of the descendants of Nathaniel and Susan Pennington will begin at 11 a.m. Aug. 8 at the Dryfork Community Center. Dinner will begin at noon. CARR - The reunion of the family of the late Ira and Florence Carr will begin at noon Aug. 8 at Camp Pioneer at Beverly. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and a craft for the auction. Pictures will be taken before lunch.

WEGMAN - The 51st annual Wegman family reunion will begin at noon Aug. 8 at Wegman Park in Adolph. Those attending are asked to bring a beverage of choice and a covered dish. Prizes will be awarded. There will be raffles and a cakewalk after the business meeting is adjourned.

TAYLOR - The annual Taylor reunion will begin at 11 a.m. Aug. 8 at Camp Pioneer. Lunch will be at 12:30 p.m. Tableware will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, dessert and soft drink and something for the raffle drawings.

CURRENCE - The reunion of family and friends of Bosworth and Bertha Herron Currence will be Aug. 9 in the Woody Simmons Pavilion at Mill Creek. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.

ENGLAND - The 17th reunion of the descendants of Willie Roy and Mattie Delauder England will begin at noon Aug. 9 at the Barbour County Fairgrounds. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and an item for the auction. Meat, bread and table service will be provided.

PHILIP BARBOUR HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1989 - Philip Barbour High School Class of 1989 reunion will begin at 6 p.m. Sept. 5 with dinner at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church. Family day will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 6 at Audra State Park pavilion. The cost will be $15 for singles and $20 for couples.
