Charles "Chipmonk" Carr and Olivia "Bitty" Stone of Thomas and Terry "Ted" Helmick of Shinnston and Sherri Helmick of Davis announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Heather Marie Carr and Adam Wesley Helmick.
The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Tucker County High School and is employed by Miners & Merchants Bank in Thomas.
Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Tucker County High School, a 2008 graduate of Fairmont State University and is employed by the West Virginia Division of Highways.
