Paul and Louise McAtee celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on June 16.
They were married June 16, 1984, at the First United Methodist Church in Elkins with the Rev. Dr. Basil Hensley officiating.
In celebration of their 25th anniversary, the couple reaffirmed their wedding vows at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Beverly with Pastor Leon Brown officiating. Serving as matron of honor was Neena McAtee-Walls, daughter of the couple. Bridesmaids included the couple's daughters, Paula McAtee and Emily McAtee. Best man was Eugene McAtee, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Mat Walls, son-in-law of the couple, and the couple's son, Michael McAtee. Hayden Taylor, a friend of the couple, was the flower girl.

Singing the Lord's Prayer while the couple served communion to each other was G'na Stephens, friend of the couple. The couple requested the song "At the Foot of the Cross" to complete their vows to each other. Kerri Lewis was the photographer.
Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted in the Fellowship Hall of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and was served by the Ladies Mission of the church. The three-tier wedding cake was made and served by Maxine Cunningham, friend of the couple. Decorations for the ceremony were provided by Pat Lewis and the Ladies Mission of the church.
The McAtees are the parents of five children, Paul David McAtee II of Daytona Beach, Fla., Neena Nichole McAtee-Walls of Clarksburg, Paula Adele McAtee of Beverly, Michael David McAtee of Beverly and Emily Louis McAtee of Beverly.
Mrs. McAtee is the daughter of Richard and Janet Shears of Elkins.
Mr. McAtee is the son of Loy and Katheryn McAtee of Huttonsville.
